Millions in Donations Divided Among BostonMarathon Victims
Starting this weekend, One Fund Boston, the charity established in the wakeof the Boston Marathon attacks, will be distributing millions of dollarsbetween some victims who were injured or killed that day. Administrator KennethFeinberg announced Saturday that the victims' fund will start dividing thetotal $60,952,000 raised into cash awards and delivering them as early asSunday. The charity, started by Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Governor DevalPatrick after the bombings, will be giving cash awards to 232 victims. Everyperson chosen to receive a cash settlement was vetted by the fund'sadministrators to avoid fraudulent claims.
