Mike Pence Versus Joe Biden

If Trump Resigned, who would you vote for in November?

  • Mike Pence (Republican)

    Votes: 26 30.6%
  • Joe Biden (Democrat)

    Votes: 53 62.4%
  • Other

    Votes: 5 5.9%
  • I would not vote

    Votes: 1 1.2%

  • Total voters
    85
  • Poll closed .
Lets face it. This entire thread is based on Trump resigning. That sounds wonderful to me. If conservative Trumpists weren't starting to realize what a buffoon Trump is, this thread would have never been started.

You're trying your damn best to defend him, but at the same time talking about him resigning. Getting a little worried are you?

More likely that Biden would withdraw from the race or be unable to continue.
Biden is in a steep mental decline. There is no way he could function as the
president of the United States.

:lamo Apparently common sense isn't so common.

that is because you are a far left-winger and you hate a prosperous America where the wealthy are doing well, and employment is almost full.

I have no idea why you would say that. I was doing very well during the last 8 years and am still doing well. It's nothing more than hard work, it always pays off. Trump has done nothing for me ever, and he never will.

Actually, While I voted fro Trump, and will likely do so again, it will not be a easy task.
I think someone like Pence would be a breath of fresh air.
Peoples hatred of Trump, is limiting how effective he can be.

He shouldn't have been such an idiot prick then.

Seriously.

Why in the world would anybody of any stripe have a gram of respect for trump if they weren't predisposed to like him personally in the first place?

Who hasn't he talked **** about?

How many people who just generally vote republican will vote for trump again after he lied about people they know personally and are quite certain that trumps words were baseless slander?

I think that the question of what would happen if trump were elected has been answered.

I'm not sure that as many as you hope like the multiple answers to that question.

First of all, you can be sure that Trump won't be stepping down, so your question is, to me, idiotic.

But...since you went ahead and asked an idiotic question, I'll give you my answer: Pence.

Doesn't matter

He's pro life

Aka

Abysmally hate worthy

He also can't be alone in a room with a woman other than his wife.

Which always sounded like some kind of infidelity arbitration and not any religious requirement to me. God would know what you did anyway, and my wife is not worried in the least that I will stray. It just isn't my style.

True, but I'm just curious to see what would happen and whether it would work out better or worse for Republicans to run without Trump.

I think we have to wait until November!

It would work out better for the entire country for the Republicans to run WITH Trump.

Ted Cruz, if he runs.

That Cartoon President show is truly some impressive propaganda!

I cannot read "Ted Cruz" without hearing "TED CRUZ!" like the character in the show says it. Same for all the others, Don Jr., McConnell, Ivanka, and poor Eric.

I wonder how much it affects independents who watch the show? I would imagine the same way it does me. Making everything I read from any of the characters sound ridiculous. Every real video reinforces those characatures.

Well played, Colbert, well played.

Wouldn't change how I vote, though I suspect it would rally the Republican base and lead to net gains in turnout for the GOP. The #NeverTrump movement would, for example, disappear overnight.

I think we have to wait until November!

That we will.

There are massive suppression machinations rumbling in the background.

But barring some miracle, coupled with trump shutting up or being helpful, it does not look good for him.

He had real crises during his first term and failed miserably. As a president. He shuffled his feet when he should have been charging on the pandemic, he divided when he should have united.

I'm not sure what he has actually accomplished except a tax cut for the globalists conservatives hate now. Big shows, incremental changes everywhere else. Mixed results at very best.

And a whole lot of strife and scandal and stupid and Sharpie and stuff.

And of course a lot of it was federal land and budgets for that kind of thing have seen many cuts, just to flesh it out a bit.

UM!
Are you a doctor? Are you Trump's doctor? If not, what right do you have to make a definitive statement like that when you don't know the man?

that is because you are a far left-winger and you hate a prosperous America where the wealthy are doing well, and employment is almost full.

But wages remain stagnant and housing prices just keep going up and up.

See how different it sounds when you include the whole picture?

Because way back in 2017, 1000 psychiatrists have already made that observation. His own niece is going to release a new book in a month describing exactly what has been said many times.

John Bolton (Who is not the most popular guy right now) has described all the same faults as have many active and retired generals. It's awful strange how the only people defending Trump are uneducated Trump supporters and the lying idiots in the WH.

Wow, Trump has personally been analyzed by 1000 unbiased psychiatrists, who got the bills?

unfortunately, the American people have been suffering with the cost of Trump for three and a half-years.

what do you expect the president to do for you?

what would cause wages to go up? answer-if the commodity known as labor cannot be obtained at the current wage level-then the rates will have to rise.

Even if what you say were true, and I see no evidence that it is, he would be an improvement over what we have now.

not for normal Americans who like a prosperous economy and low rates of unemployment. For far lefties who hate America and want America to fail and descend into warring special interest groups, I can see why they would think Biden would be an improvement. Just as they saw the COVID induced economic crisis as a positive development

Pence would probably be a disaster. He only joined Trump's ticket because his own prospects in Indiana were doomed. Plus, he's not a demagogue. He's sleepier than Joe Biden. Who's going to get that base up on its hind legs and to the polls?

Trump isn't giving us prosperity and low unemployment. It took a Democratic president to dig us out of the crisis the last Republican president put us in. Its happening all over again.

I see no evidence that Trump isn't content with allowing America to fail. He thrives on exploiting "warring special interest groups." He could not exist without it.

some claimed that the clinton prosperity came from measures that GHWB implemented or because the GOP takeover of Congress in 94 forced Clinton to do things that lead to prosperity. Bottom line-=no matter what Trump does, you will deny he does any good, and you will blame him for any and all problems
