Migrants from caravan begin climbing border fence in Tijuana

Which is why I expressly wrote that the concept of "Right-wing" libertarianism is new to history. It's rise had everything to do with the context of the Depression and the New Deal. Libertarians tended to oppose the New Deal. In other words, it was a new way for the elite, who were not really affected by the Depression, to protest. And Roosevelt was a Democrat. It's from this origin that "Right-wing" Libertarianism fell comfortably among Conservatives against Liberals. Ultimately, there isn't much difference between those who declare themselves as "Libertarian - Right" and Conservatives.

On the contrary, it allows one to be true to himself and not hampered by baggage. The non-thinkers confine themselves to a label, thus conform. For example, how many conservatives actually thought and think that tomato paste is a vegetable? How many enthusiastically believed that Global Warming was a liberal hoax? How many still believe that Trickle Down is in their interests even after corporations and banks received bail outs and began confiscating homes? We'll never really know because the masses simply followed (follow) along like ducklings to the GOP tune....like good conservatives.

I was a democrat at first because my family was. My dad had 9 brothers, all served in WW2, and all but 3 were fireman. We were a big union family, so we always supported the dems locally. My dad told me when I was getting ready to apply for the fire department that I should register to vote as a democrat, otherwise, my chances of getting hired were nil. I still had to take the test 5 years in a row before I was hired. As I got older, I realized that I disagreed with the dems and pubbies on certain issues, so I switched to Ind. I stopped voting for years as I felt it was a waste of time here in Md for obvious reasons. Then, after the 2016 election, I was struck by the amount of violence and destruction by left wing nutjobs. I now am a registered republican. The lefts lurch toward socialist principles and constant race baiting was a call to action for me as I don't want to see the country turn into a third world mess, so I voted for the first time in years this mid-term. I consider myself a conservative with libertarian leanings. I am against abortion, but feel the gov't. should but out of it. I am for decriminalization of drugs, and believe my right to bear arms is a god given right, and the government is wrong to infringe upon that right. I support reparations, but am against affirmative action. I am against the death penalty....period. So those are a few of my beliefs. I also am a marine, 1974-1976. Happy belated birthday brother. Semper Fi

You're wasting your breath. The race card is the libs lazy way to respond when they have nothing else to support their position. The Tajuana citizens are pushing back against the Guatemalan invasion and saying Trump is right. I suppose they are racist white supremacists as well. ;)

By creative tactical thought Trump has the illegals trapped between
our reinforced border & a Mexican city that wants them gone.
Of those born on US soil you usually see such spectacular display
of tactical genius by generals during warfare.

Of presidents those whose methods have matched or nearly
matched Trumps gift of high intellect to benefit the country can
be counted on less than a handful, James K Polk & Jefferson
come to mind with minor shoutouts to FDR & Mckinley!

If you had read the Washington Times, you'd see the photos came from here:

If, posters read The Washington Examiner article you linked in your 1st post on this thread, they could have found the following information...

snippets from the article follow...

The first wave of migrants from the Central American caravan began climbing border fences on Tuesday after arriving at the U.S. border.

Many on the Mexican side of the border climbed the fence and sat or walked on top of it, while others jumped and crawled through openings in the fence, only to run back to the Mexico side when U.S. Border Patrol agents approached, Fox 5 San Diego reported.

The San Diego Union-Tribune released video that showed the perspective of those climbing the fences from the Mexican side of the border.

The first part of the thousands-strong caravan arrived at the U.S. border with Tijuana over the weekend, and made up an 80-person LGBTQ subsection of the group, according to NPR.

The members said they broke off from the larger group in Mexico City after they were discriminated against by local residents and other travelers for weeks.

"Whenever we arrived at a stopping point the LGBT community was the last to be taken into account in every way. So our goal was to change that and say, 'This time we are going to be first,'” Honduran migrant Cesar Mejia said during a news conference Sunday.

Border closed, military authorized to use lethal force:
Yesterday we reported that president Trump had authorized troops stationed at the border to act in a law enforcement capacity to “perform those military protective activities that the Secretary of Defense determines are reasonably necessary” to protect border agents, including “a show or use of force (including lethal force, where necessary), crowd control, temporary detention. and cursory search.”

That wasn't all: speaking to reporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, the president said on Thursday that he also signed an order to close the U.S. border with Mexico, adding that he’s authorized troops to use lethal force against migrants who attempt to enter the U.S.

According to Bloomberg, Trump signed the order two days ago and that "I’ve already shutdown parts of the border" warning that the entire border may be closed if conflict with migrants escalates.

"If we find that its uncontrollable,” he said, “if we find that it gets to a level where we are going to lose control or people are going to start getting hurt, we will close entry into the country for a period of time until we can get it under control."

"The whole border,” he clarified. "I mean the whole border. https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018...losing-border-mexico-authorizing-lethal-force
Of course this is a human right:
Freedom of movement, mobility rights, or the right to travel is a human rights concept encompassing the right of individuals to travel from place to place within the territory of a country, and to leave the country and return to it. The right includes not only visiting places, but changing the place where the individual resides or works.

Such a right is provided in the constitutions of numerous states, and in documents reflecting norms of international law. For example, Article 13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights asserts that:

• a citizen of a state in which that citizen is present has the liberty to travel, reside in, and/or work in any part of the state where one pleases within the limits of respect for the liberty and rights of others,
• and that a citizen also has the right to leave any country, including his or her own, and to return to his or her country at any time.

Some people and organizations advocate an extension of the freedom of movement to include a freedom of movement (or migration) between the countries as well as within the countries. The freedom of movement is restricted in a variety of ways by various governments and may even vary within the territory of a single country. Such restrictions are generally based on public health, order, or safety justifications and postulate that the right to these conditions preempts the notion of freedom of movement. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_movement
Apparently in the US this is Constitutional:
Freedom of movement under United States law is governed primarily by the Privileges and Immunities Clause of the United States Constitution which states, "The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States." As far back as the circuit court ruling in Corfield v. Coryell, 6 Fed. Cas. 546 (1823), freedom of movement has been judicially recognized as a fundamental Constitutional right. In Paul v. Virginia, 75 U.S. 168 (1869), the Court defined freedom of movement as "right of free ingress into other States, and egress from them." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_movement#United_States
