I am almost 100% Microsoft free.

I tried out the new Ubuntu linux, it's pretty nice.

Any others heading in this adventure as well?

I don't pay Microsoft a dime. I'm too lazy to not use it though :p

M$ is acceptable when it works properly and doesn't get pushy. When they recently uploaded that Service Pack 2, a virus that had lurked in my machine rather benevolently went nuts and scrambled my registry. Not having an installation disc I had to take it to the local guru who wiped the drive and reinstalled the OS. At the time I was having fun with EverQuest and was afraid to change systems. Next time it screws up, though, it's history. I've got an old Red Hat around somewhere, but its GUI is too rudimentary. Ubuntu, huh?
