Igor Lanis became obsessed with QAnon and the "deep state" before he gunned down his wife, nearly killed their daughter and then was fatally shot by police, his other daughter said.

The Michigan man who gunned down his wife, nearly killed their daughter and was fatally shot by police had fallen down a “rabbit hole” of conspiracy theories leading up to the shooting, his other daughter said.

Igor Lanis, 53, believed “deep state” forces stole the 2020 election from Donald Trump, staged mass shootings and the "fake" Jan. 6 riot, and hatched plots to harm Americans with vaccines and 5G technology, Rebecca Lanis said Wednesday.

Igor Lanis, a suburban Detroit auto industry employee, was arguing with his wife, Tina Lanis, 56, and daughter Rachel Lanis, 25, early Sunday when the two women were about to drive away from their home — but not before he opened fire with a shotgun, Rebecca Lanis said.

MAGA. I took the measure of Q when that guy was going to shoot up that DC pizzarea because he heard they were harming little kids in their basement, which did not exist.

This is what can happen when someone gets deep into conspiracy theories. Stay away from the Kool-Aid, everyone.

To point out, Kool Aid drinkers existed a long time before Trump ran for office. Aren't the most gullible also the easiest to manipulate? Too many snake oil salesmen pick the most vulnerable and speak to them the words they are longing to hear. It was, is, and always will be.
So here is a question.
What was first, Trump or willing followers? Kind of the chicken and the egg question I suppose. Trump heard what people were grumbling about and cashed in on giving them the answer they wanted to hear. So another question is, who else listens to those who feel they aren't being heard? We are making fun of the Trump fan club, and that is easily done. But it is more difficult to actually hear them and address their issues in a sensible way. Perhaps if we did that, they wouldn't be so easily manipulated by a con man.

Q is literally laughing about this.

Let me guess, this crazy MAGA was spending FAR too much time with his fellow nutters on line?

I disagree

The internet is a breeding ground for these naive fools with zero critical thinking skills.

MyPillow anyone?
