This is awesome. I've been looking forward to seeing truex move up in the one on a permanent basis for a while now.

This is not surprising. I think that Daryl made that observation some time ago. Even Dale Jr. has been rumored to taking over the #3 car with Richard Childress. I think DEI is on its last legs.

Yeah. I think Jr. would be better off in a team he didn't have partial ownership over and childress's relationship with his father would allow him enough influence to control Jr. and put him in his place when needed
