It's always best to approach this hearing with an open mind but naturally people are going to watch with an opinion that has pretty much been formulated already. Cohen won’t be able to talk about topics that he has discussed with special counsel Robert Mueller, but it sounds as though he's going to bring out a lot of things that will come as a surprise to many of us.

[h=1]Ex-Trump Lawyer Michael Cohen Will Disclose 'What It's Like to Work for a Madman' to Congress, Associate Says: Report[/h]President Donald Trump’s longtime former lawyer Michael Cohen will reportedly provide a “chilling” testimony on what working for a “madman”—Trump—is like, in an open hearing before the House Oversight Committee next month.

“He’s going to tell the story of what it’s like to work for a madman, and why he did it for so long,” a person close to Cohen told The Wall Street Journal in a report published Tuesday. “He’s going to say things that will give you chills.”

He sure liked working for Trump.....see that is the problem with the story that he is telling now.

The deflection squad is back.

Cohen knows where the bodies are buried, it is gonna be fun....

I’ll make the popcorn... :popcorn2:

But he gladly took Trump's money.
Cohen's only remorse is that he got caught being a criminal.
Nobody but Cohen is responsible for his choices.

But you go ahead with it, and make Cohen out to be a victim.

A number of Obamas appointees left in the middle of his admin, but none of them came away telling stories of how crazy their ex-boss was.

Funny how all of Trumps ex-subordinates leave disgruntled. Either it has to do with the type of person Trump picks, or it is because the boss really is rat crap crazy

He is selling what the Failed Intelligentsia! wish to buy by way of lying rather than the truth, this is not deflection, this is important reality.

He had better be bringing some recordings because this colossal liar has no credibility with me.

Since I already have Menendez Bros-like vibes coming from the Trump family... I would not be surprised to see that that is where this all ends. That's what I would consider "chilling."

I will be watching, but, well, build up very rarely match expectations.

Because he got paid well for it means he didn't think Trump was a madman?
Why would we believe you over Cohen, about what Cohen is remorseful for?
Cohen is "coming clean", he's not playing the victim from what I can see. He's gonna do his time, but he's gonna say his peace before he goes away.

Cohen will be under oath. You know Trix, that thing that Trump refuses to do in a criminal investigation into his campaign and its dealings with Russia?

Good for Cohen, tell us what our president was like in the decade you worked for him as his trusted, personal fixer. That's the first step on the road to forgiveness, you come clean.

All the while, his honesty will constantly be in doubt, seeing as he lied once before.

Also, how much can he really reveal? Wouldn't any "investigation" he's involved in still be active, and thus no details would be allowed to be revealed until it's conclusion?

Well, at the very least we'll get quite the Trump Twitter storm following his testimony, of that you can be assured.

I would think that lying under oath (again) is something that Michael Cohen will try to avoid. If he lies under oath to Congress, it would set him up for more litigation, charges and defamation lawsuits from the Trump family.

Well let's not forget, ANYTHING that reflects badly on Trump, therefore MUST be a lie or fake news. I mean isn't that the definition of MAGA, if Trump says it, even if he's on tape 50x before saying the opposite, whatever he just said is true and always was and anything before was misconstrued by the dishonest media? Isn't that how MAGA works?

Obviously "MAGA" was always a "theoretical" concept, we all knew (and wanted) Trump to be richer and nothing else really mattered right? Isn't Trump being Richer MAGA enough for 'murica? It Triggers libruls of the commie democrat party, so that's MAGA as all ****!

YEAHHHHHHHHH!@ COVFEFE MAN!

Let's not forget that a guy who enthusiastically works a job for over a decade collecting large sums of money as he does it and then turns on a dime as says that he was working for a madman who must be condemned is almost certainly lying.

Dont forget as well that this guy has a distinguished record for lying.

It is about Cohen not Trump and not Trump Supporters.

But his testimony will be all about Trump, have no doubts about that.

I hope he doesn't forget to bring the tapes with him ...

In a credibility contest, Trump can literally not beat anyone. Plus there's the little "lying under oath" thing? Plus there's the "corroborating evidence" Mueller will have that allows for Trump to be exposed for the madman and criminal he is. I know it's hard, and you can't...

But Trumpster fire burns away.....

DEAL WITH IT!

We are discussing Cohens credibility not Trumps.

As you should know.

Don't let that stop them from enjoying the titillation.

I'm going to need some hard proof to believe Cohen - not that I doubt our POTUS is capable of anything that Cohen discloses. I just don't trust either one of them.

But he gladly took Trump's money.

A man who needs a fixer isn't someone operating on the up and up. That he needs a fixer, like a mob boss would employ, doesn't well reflect the character of someone who is ethical, honorable or operating within the law.

Don't let that stop them from enjoying the titillation.

There is every likelihood that Cohen will prove to be an even better Trump Circus Act than Comey.....which takes some doing!
