The incident took place Tuesday and Avenatti was arrested today, police said.

Avenatti was booked at 3:44 p.m. local time Wednesday on a charge of domestic violence with injuries, according to booking records obtained by ABC Station KABC. His bail was set at $50,000, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The case will be "presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney for prosecution," the LAPD said in a press release.

Avenatti's life sure has gone south since the judge tossed out Porny Stormy's defamation suit.

-He's been ordered to pay millions to someone he screwed over
-He still has an issue with the IRS to deal with (correct me if i'm wrong, you won't hurt my feelings)
-He hyped up a "bombshell accusation" against Kavanaugh that failed the sniff test, plus she may have committed perjury when she changed her story on TV
-He's been recommended for investigation on TWO possible criminal issues regarding above "accusation".
-Now possible domestic abuse

I knew this mother****er would fall sooner or later. Pass the popcorn and a bottle of Jack, cuz this is getting entertaining.
 
My guess?

Someday, when Trump resumes "The Celebrity Apprentice," Michael Avenatti will be one of the first contestants.
