This warms my heart. Not the domestic abuse part -- that definitely sucks. I mean the fact that I've always known since I started (and later stopped) following him on Twitter that this guy was a bona fide scumbag, and it warms my heart that I will never have to worry about him being taken seriously as a future Presidential candidate ever again. I'm also happy because the narrative that Trump could only be defeated by a Democrat version of Trump was thoroughly refuted by the results of the the midterm elections, in which not one Democrat ran on Trumpian personality traits. Many Democrats embraced Avenatti because they believed he was that "fight Trump with Trump" candidate. I believed that we could win on the strength of our messaging and our platforms, and I was right.

Good riddance, Avenatti. You did one good thing with your life, but apparently that was all you had in you.

LOS ANGELES — Michael Avenatti, the attorney for porn star Stormy Daniels and one of President Donald Trump's chief antagonists, has been arrested on suspicion of felony domestic abuse, multiple senior law enforcement officials told NBC News on Wednesday.

Officers in West Los Angeles responded to an incident involving Avenatti, and he was detained in the process of taking an incident report, the sources said. He was expected to be booked into a local jail later Wednesday evening.

For those looking to defend him...seriously, don't. As I said, I followed him on Twitter for a while and I can say he had the same exact malignant narcissistic traits as Trump. He spent all his time attacking everybody, including Democrats, for all offenses real and imagined. He was just all attack, all rage, all day. Maybe that worked for him as a lawyer, but as a statesman those qualities would make him grotesque.

Well, I don't know about you guys and your ethics, but I'm an "innocent until proven guilty" man myself. Too many good men are slandered and libeled. But, hey, if you people want, go ahead and condemn everyone without a trial. It's like there's no justice today, especially for men.

Indeed.

The man is a narcissist like Trump, only with a little more brain to work with.

Malignant narcissists often butt heads with each other in a spectacular fashion. Let's hope that in a couple of years the democratic party isn't as desperate for a win as the republicans of 2016 were.
