Univision News Tumblr, Mexico: Christian fundamentalists burn down a school "possessed by the devil" (video)

More here.

Interesting, but what do you want to debate?

Nothing in particular. Anything I'd have to say on the subject would have me labeled an 'elitist', or 'someone with an agenda', or it would be said that I don't sufficiently "distinguish between cultists and fundamentalists", and so forth. Let others put forward a debate if they'd like.

lol textbook definition of passive-aggressive

playing the victim to bully others

topping from the bottom

any way, it's gutless

Lots of fundamentalist assholes out there. Christians. Muslims. 99%rs...

I'm not the one who whines about elitists, posturing as though I were a victim of legitimate oppression.

You are the one, though, who took the time to create this thread. Now you say there's no real reason you did, but surely there is. Folks don't just randomly create threads.

Well, if you want, let me put this question forward to you:

Does moral absolutism - such as the belief that a certain person or group of persons is possessed by the Devil, and that you have a mission from on high to stop them - at some level require moral relativism to operate? Or the ability to distance yourself morally from your actions? In other words, is relativism a dialectical product of absolutism?

Mexico has been ****ed up for a very long time. The recent cartel wars didn't help much. So some crazies burned down a school, still a better news story than DA's and their families getting brutally murdered

Weird........... Where are the kids going to school now?
