Have you experienced any mental changes due to being quarantined? In Michigan, we're quarantined to our homes and are advised to only leave home for outdoor exercise, food, or emergencies. It's only been about 4 days now, but I feel like my mind is calming and I'm seeing nuances that I wouldn't have noticed before. For instance, I watched this video for the first time this morning and I noticed many attractive nuances in the music, the clothing, the buildings, the quality of the video editing itself that I wouldn't have noticed before. It's interesting and a little exciting to me and I hope it continues.

What about you, have you experienced any noteworthy differences, good or bad?

I will tell you this off of the top of my head.....People have so disappointed me over these last years......America has so disappointed me over these last years.......that I was already moving towards spending almost all of my time at this oasis I have built.....with fewer and fewer showing up because I mostly stopped throwing my awesome parties.......I am fine with being home.

What has taken some adjustment is having my wife home all of the time, and let me assure you she has had a very hard time adjusting....she is a sexy social butterfly.

The Hound is having so much trouble now too, because there are only a few hours that my wife and I are both asleep.

And she feeds him better....she is always giving him these GD snacks!

He wants to be awake for that!

Well one change in me is, I'm enjoying an extra cup off coffee since I'm not working

Life is good in that regard

The internet is chock full of former POWs sharing stories about how they adapted to being isolated by their captors for days or months

It's always good to learn to appreciate the simpler, smaller things in life, regardless of the situation that influenced that change in thinking. Just try to hold onto it even after the danger subsides. There's actually a lot of things all around you that are interesting, including wildlife, nature, science, physics, and even the simple curiosity of trying to figure out how things around you work.

Depending on where you live, and the temperature there, it's just about frog and toad mating season. That may not seem particularly newsworthy or interesting. But I promise you you'll find it interesting to visit a nearby pond or lake about an hour or more after sunset, with a flashlight, and listen to the different frogs and toads calling. Then carefully "home in" on them and check them out as they sit on the edges of the pond making LOTS of noise! Stop by again in June, and you'll then see the elusive tree frogs on the banks of the pond.

I've worked from home for years. I'm good. Just a bit annoyed at the wife's constant presence.

I have noticed how much more handsome I am during quarantine...

Very interesting and well done!

Photography was a well established science/art in the 1880's and provides a rich record of what was and how things have both changed and remained the same.

Thank you!

WOW! This might say more about their spouse than about them.

Nope. My life is largely unaffected by the stay at home order. I don't go to clubs and it isn't backyard barbecue season yet so it isn't like I would be hanging out with 100 people right now anyway. My work is essential so I don't even have an excuse to stay home. Other than having to have my temp taken on the way in and one the way out of work, it is actually nice having the front door there locked and access limited.
