Men rush to get vasectomies after Roe ruling

Until the baby is born of course.

Then you couldn’t give 2 ****s.
How do you know what I do or don’t care about? Gee oh darn I guess you caught me. We must protect fetuses at all costs but once they’re breathing air to hell with them. Kill ‘em all!

So you spend your spare time in the recovery rooms of hospitals polling men who just had vasectomies and women who just had their tubes tied, finding out whether they had had the prodedures because seven children was all they could afford or whether their "liberal" politics demanded it? It is amazing you are able to walk around. If some big guy didn't deck you in his post-operative state, some angry woman surely would have. That surgery isn't pleasant. Not that I have had it. The women I know who have had it all had a lot of kids. Usually their doctors were urging them to stop procreating.
Lighten up. That was funny.

That wasn't the goal. I think these mean fear they can do longer push a woman into abortions, and will have to pay child support.
That's what the big lie is. This is about controlling women and their sex lives.

That statement and the flip side of it is probably THE crux of the entire argument between the two sides. In another forum I saw someone post a photo similar to this, and posed two questions "Would you stop a woman wearing one of these and tell her that's NOT a baby inside?" And "If a woman wearing this shirt had ever or would ever have an abortion, would she believe that she was getting rid of a "baby"? There was lots of dialogue on that.

Because she's "expecting." What is she expecting? A baby.

Agreed, and a Vasectomy is much simplere than Tubal ligation. Just the same, women not wanting kids should get a Tubal ligation rather than using abortion when contraceptions fail.

Tubal ligation is a lot more expensive and not usually covered by health insurance. And many drs will not do them on women that are in their prime reproductive years, fearing liability that the women will change their minds later.

It's also invasive and more dangerous than a vasectomy and most abortions.

Yes, expecting a baby. But the shirt says there's already a BABY inside the woman, no?

With all the liberals and progressives having vasectomies, getting their tubes tied, switching genders, and marrying their same-sex partners, they'll remove themselves from the gene pool in about one-two generations.

Medically Scientific Factoid.
IQ will drop dramatically

so men aren't gonna simply stop having sex with women??

Apparently, they now worry about the consequences.

Men, as a gender, are pretty selfish.

I am glad to see that they will be doing what they should have done to begin with.

Given that most are likely lefties.....it's great.

Because that's what she's expecting.

In any case, it's normal, healthy, to imagine the much anticipated family member while waiting. Father and mother, future grandparents. It's kinda creepy imagining what's inside women you dont know, IMO. It's choosing to invest personal feelings in a stranger's unborn 🤷

Maybe that emotional investment is better spent making sure actual babies on SNAP and other such programs continue to get the support they need?

Meh, personal lecture. I shouldnt apply a common general hypocrisy to you specifically.

It's nice to see you recognize that it's likely most of the ones doing the right thing are on the left :)

Young liberals rushing to get sterilized because Justice Thomas said something that upset them. Hilarious, and the best news I’ve heard all day. 😀

Not that they told me, lol. They did go to the doctor and ask how it was possible. Doctor explained that it was super rare but that it does happen.
More likely she was ****ing the milkman.

Yes, you are correct. Just the same, relying on birth control that has a know failure rate when properly used apparently has you guys wanting to abort, using abortion as a back-up birth control.

Friend of mine got pregnant several years back. Huge surprise! Her husband's vasectomy worked for about 15 years and then it didn't. I guess they aren't always 100% effective? All worked out for the best - beautiful girl and two 20-something siblings that can dote on her and help out as needed.

Well, that's one explanation.

so, she wants a baby, but, having a tee shirt doesn't make a fetus a baby.

She can't claim that fetus on her tax deductions. That's because it's not yet a baby.

And so?

The Supreme Court has scared men into surgery! I am sure that the combination of banned abortions and the threat to birth control openly posed by Clarence Thomas in his opinion have made all thinking people aware that actions have consequences. The consequences are more dire for the woman, of course, and affect her physical health and even whether she lives or dies, but they also affect some men.

"Stein* said his practice is booked through the end of August with vasectomy appointments, prompting him to open up more days in his schedule to accommodate patients who have recently registered. He and his associate, John Curington, said the decision overturning Roe has directly factored into their patients’ requests for vasectomies. Men under the age of 30 who do not have children are requesting vasectomies in greater numbers than before, the physicians said.

'I’d say at least 60 or 70 percent are mentioning the Supreme Court decision,' Curington said. 'And a few of them have such sophistication as young men that they actually are thinking about Justice Thomas and his opinion that contraception may fall next. And that’s shocking. That’s something that doesn’t enter into our conversations ever, until this week.'"

*Dr. Stein is a urologist in Florida who performs vasectomies.

Except - as it turns out, some brilliant morons have figured out how to "fix" themselves.

...and society is the better for it, if you ask me.
