It's pretty plain English, written in short sentences and paragraphs... As good writers tend to do when they really want to communicate with readers.

The good thing is this election has sealed their fates nationally. You can oppose a candidate in the primaries, but what they've pulled thereafter has killed their hopes at national politics.

That's great. The beauty of this election cycle is we have identified the real dregs, and those two qualify as top tier dregs.
