Did anyone watch the show yesterday? Let me tell you some observations that made me proud to be a democrat. The 4 guests were Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Dole, Tom Reynolds, and Rahm Emanuel.

As Chuck Schumer spoke, Elizabeth Dole constantly wanted to interrupt him and actually interrupted him. As Elizabeth Dole spoke, Chuck Schumer never interrupted her. When Chuck Schumer spoke, he was calm and articulate. As Elizabet Dole spoke, she was hyper and very quick to insult the democrats. At one point, she said that Democrats seemed satisfied to lose the Iraq war. Rahm Emanuel got furious and wanted to respond. Tim Russert wanted to allow Rahm to respond, but Elizabeth Dole refused to let Rahm respond, and continued to talk as Tim Russert asked her to stop. It reminded me of a special-ed class. I couldn't believe the manners (lack thereof) that Elizabeth Dole showed. I was disgusted.

As Tom Reynolds spoke, Rahm Emanuel let him speak and did nothing. As Rahm Emanuel spoke, Tom Reynolds made obnoxious faces.

I like seeing how the Democrats exuded class and integrity, whereas the Republicans exuded rudeness and disingenuousness.

As a petty aside, Elizabeth Dole's facelift looks awful.

Libby Dole has always unnerved me for some reason, I don't know why...

Sorry, but this is a HUGE pet peeve of mine for some reason and I've already read it a few times in the last few minutes and have read it in emails at work today a few times, so my peeve is piqued... but,

It's LOSE... not LOOSE... jfuh, you can blast me all you want and I understand if you do, but I have to scream or my head will explode like in the movie "Scanners"...

ok, back to discussion... I'm good again...

reagan, I used to love her (she went to law school with my father and my father was invited to her and Bob Dole's wedding). The first time I saw this other side to her was after Kerry picked John Edwards as his running mate. She was being interviewed and she was belittling Edwards's experience as a senator, and she did it in a rather childish way.

Yesterday's behavior was a little shocking, particularly when Tim Russert gave her a very angry look while asking her to stop talking and she still refused to stop. I was incredulous! What kind of guest doesn't shut up when the moderator asks nicely?

It's one of my pet peeves too. Another is when people use "your" instead of "you're."

I'm sorry jfuh, I don't mean to be an *** about it, you're just the person next to me when my head went BOOM!!! I do it to the people I work with all the time, but I'm more sarcastic about it than an a-hole... I was just being that way(sarcastic) towards you, for the most part, also... There's no way to be the 1st to bring that up and not be a partial d-head....

I saw the show. She was a real snippy pain, one of those like Sean Hannity that thinks talking over people who don't agree with him is fine. Schumer is seasoned though, so he handled it fine.

Ever watch Fox News Sunday? The four panelists comment on Wallaces questions, mostly uninterrupted, but when its Juan Williams turn, Brit Hume usually talks over him. I don't care about Hume's breaking in. The thing that bothers me is Williams lets Hume patronize him. If Williams would shut that pompous *** down one time, I think things would go better for him.

By the way, the reason Libby's surgery looks like it does is they had to lift things way up. Way, way up. S'all I'm sayin.

I just thought she was better than that. I don't think I will ever see her in a positive light again.

I have watched it, but very few times. I'll have to watch it one of these days.

I don't know why women don't just let themselves age gracefully. Ewwwww.
