The Milwaukee sheriff is the latest security-trumps-freedom cheerleader to be snatched by the GOP's kiddie-propoganda channel...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTpLS9Us4yI

The dude's been making the rounds of the GOP media circus (talk shows, RNC convention, etc.) touting how African-Americans and Obama have banded together to start a war on police based on "hate" and "anti-cop rhetoric", as opposed to the released cell phone videos documenting actual civil rights abuses.

Sheriff David Clarke: "War On Police" Fueled By "Anti-Cop Hatred and Rhetoric," Ferguson "False Narrative" | Video | RealClearPolitics

Wonder if anyone notified him that he's schmoozing w/an outfit that's in bed w/the NRA, an organization whose policies are the historical chief target of police dept. derision .

Oh, the irony

Clark has been around quite a while. Where have you been?

Anyone who isn't interested in the other side of the story.

But Clarke has went from just giving his version of the events in interviews to the GOP's new rhetorical dough boy for the 2016 campaign.

And Hillary will not be proped up by every sycophant in Washington? Clarke is doing what he wants to do. I doubt Hillarys people are as sincere.

The "dudes" been speaking truth to fact.

The days of the SJW are rapidly coming to an end. People are finally figuring out they have been played for fools by the left.

Hillary, unlike Clarke, isn't afraid of cell phones.

What? last I checked most police officers when polled support gun policies favored by the NRA.

Hillary, unlike Clarke, isn't afraid of cell phones.

No, as we learned from the FBI, she is familiar with all kind of technical devices.

The "dudes" been speaking truth to fact.

Kinda redundant--"truth to fact"--anyone can do that .

Methinks you mean truth to power, although it appears the power of a portable cell phone is too much for this guy.

Hmmm, someone should wake the rest of them up...?

Yes, the GOP would love to believe that...

In more than a dozen states with traditions of robust support for gun ownership rights, and where legislatures have moved to relax gun laws during the past year, the local police have become increasingly vocal in denouncing the measures.

NYPD Commissioner Goes Off on Pols Who ‘Prostitute Themselves’ to the NRA | Mediaite

But Clarke has went from just giving his version of the events in interviews to the GOP's new rhetorical dough boy for the 2016 campaign.

And??

Hillary, unlike Clarke, isn't afraid of cell phones.

It's about 50/50. Hillary seems to be afraid of government supplied electronic devices.

You mean the NYPD commissioner doesn't like the NRA? color me surprised.

your article cited a handful of police chiefs, it does not mention that each of the laws it criticizes had law enforcement supporters as well. it doesn't mention actual survey data to law enforcement audiences, such as police one's 2013 survey, and NACOPs recent survey showing widespread opposition to assault weapon bans and support for national concealed carry reciprocity amongst members.

in other words, you have to go out seeking a handful of LE officials, who are nearly always top executives serving at the pleasure of urban mayors who hate guns, to find support for gun control, the rank and file almost never do.

A distaste for government supplied electronic devices...what a concept...

New law makes police cam footage off limits to public | abc11.com

In contrast, police unions throughout the state are supporting pending legislation that would give an individual officer the right to challenge in court the release of any video in which he or she is depicted.

Why spend $57 million on police body cameras if the footage won't be available to the public? - LA Times

Clarke is clearly uncomfortable w/the notion of someone retaliating w/privately owned guns against what they perceive as injustices committed by gov't police forces.

Or maybe he's OK w/a "well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state", as long as it doesn't consist of any Blacks/BLM supporters.

Hillary's distaste for highly secure but easily accessible electronics provided by the government is well known, but has nothing to do with an officer's right to dispute a video, isn't that part of the Constitution? Isn't that why we have judges and warrants?

Hmmm, aren't warrants supposed to be for searches of private property, as opposed to being required for public access to taxpayer-funded devices?

Where are you getting your information? I'm uncomfortable with someone acting violently on the basis of perceived ideas. Are you suggesting that it's OK to shoot anyone, especially LEO, based on a perception?

I'm fairly knowledgeable concerning firearm possession and ownership. I know of no requirement anywhere that you must not be black or BLM.
