Now that that is out of the way I will reveal how I (and a few others) discovered Jordan Edmund was one of the former house pages that participated in sexually explicit instant messages with Rep. Mark Foley. Also I will explain to you why I believe it necessary to reveal Jordan Edmund's identity. You may not agree with my decision, but I hope to explain my reasoning by the end of this story.

On the evening of September 30th I did what many people did and I read the instant messages released by Brian Ross at ABC NEWS. Here is the link to the pdf of the instant messages. When I had finished reading the messages I felt disgust toward what Foley did. Below is a picture of the last 3 lines of that instant message.

OK so the page has been identified as one Jordan Edmund and is now 21 which would have made him 18 at the time of the incident, now Danahrea is sure to come around to spread further disinformation by convoluting the emails and the IMs and then claiming this is a false story because one of the pages in question has been proven to be from New Orleans LA rather than from California as my source indicates, so let's do a quick preemptive strike and nip that bullshit in the bud, too wit; there are two different pages the one underage one from New Orleans who recieved the non-sexually explicit emails and the one from California who recieved the sexually explicit IMs:

The underage page from LA was sent the emails and another totally separate page (the 18 year old one from CA) was sent the IMs:

To reitterate in my book this in no way exonerates Foley I think he is a sick guy regardless but others on this board have stated that because the page in the Studd's case was of legal age that it is a false analogy to compare the two incidents, well now that it is proven that the only hard evidence against Foley (the infamous IMs) were sent to a 18 year old page I'm wondering if these people will now defend Foley and Hastert as vigorously as they defended Studds and Pelosi?

Yes there is more than one page the one from New Orleans who was 16 and recieved the non-sexually explicit emails and the one who was 18 and recieved the sexually explicit IMs which are the only hard evidence that you got against Foley.

She voted for a Studds chairmanship five times after she knew for a fact that he had had sexual relations with a 17 year old page a sexual relationship that he continued while still in congress by sending the page to Portugal, Hastert only knew about a non-sexually explicit email and failed to take vigorous enough action.

No but neither is Pelosi and she's calling for Hastert to resign so what I'm saying is that all of these people calling for Hastert to resign (unless they are total hypocrites) should also be calling for Pelosi's resignation as well. After all he only knew about a non-sexually explicit email but Pelosi knew for a fact that Studds had a sexual relationship with a 17 year old page.

I'm not saying that two wrongs make a right, I'm saying that if Hastert is forced to resign then Pelosi should be forced to resign, two wrongs make a wrong but IMHO what Pelosi did is far far worse than what Hastert now stands accused of IE Hastert only knew about non-sexually explicit IMs Pelosi knew for a fact that Studds had sex with one of his pages.

Though you may have no problem with a 50 year old man making sexual suggestions to your 16 year old daughter or son I would prefer them not to. I would also prefer my countries political leaders to not have any inclination of doing an illegal act (sex with a minor).

Getting turned-on by a sexually provocative scene on TV or publicity photo is completely different then interacting with the individual and trying to create a sexual situation.
