Thanks to patriot Laura Loomer, today’s paper reports that medical visas for children from Gaza have been halted. With the article is a pic of a smiling 7-year old potential terrorist arriving in Houston for treatment with both legs gone.

...Loomer posted a video Friday showing children from Gaza arriving in San Francisco for treatment, greeted by a cheering crowd. Loomer called the video an “exclusive,” posting it to X with her watermark on it, despite it being posted on Aug. 6 by the nonprofit HEAL Palestine, which provides medical care to Palestinians.

“How did Palestinians get Visas under the Trump administration to get into the United States? Did @StateDept approve this? How did they get out of Gaza? Is @SecRubio aware of this?” she asked Friday.

The caption of the Aug. 6 video reads, “Leyan, Ghazal, and their siblings will [begin] medical treatment and school as soon as possible under the care of HEAL.”

Loomer messages Rolling Stone on Saturday afternoon: “The MAGA base didn’t vote for more Islamic immigration into the United States. I applaud Secretary of State Marco Rubio for halting the Visas of Gazans from a HAMAS hot zone and look forward to seeing the State Department’s review of the rogue State Department employees who signed off on visas for Gazans who have shown a disrespect for American life as Hamas continues to hold hostages.”

According to NBC Bay Area, Leyan is a 14-year-old who was burned and injured by shrapnel in an explosion at her school. Ghazal, 6, was also hurt in an explosion. Another child who arrived, 8-year-old Anas, was hurt in an explosion that killed his entire family. There were 11 children in total evacuated, the largest medical evacuation of injured children from Gaza to the U.S....

According to Loomer - and, perhaps, Rubio, trump et al - Palestinian children in Gaza who have been wounded in IDF attacks shouldn't be afforded American medical care. And the compassionate State Department employees who did the right thing and approved the visas have not done the right thing but instead have "shown disrespect for American life".

This is nutso rabid-right-wing bullshit, of course.

And it's anti-life.

I'd like to hear what MAGA members think of the USA's refusal to afford medical care to children.

...Ms. Loomer, who wields extraordinary power in shaping Trump administration decisions over personnel and policy despite not having an official role in government, said she first learned of the flights earlier this month.

“I felt like this is something that needs attention,” she said in an interview. “Under the Trump administration, they are actively importing Gazans into the U.S. Clearly this is not what we voted for.”

On social media, Ms. Loomer called attention to a video posted on Aug. 6 by HEAL Palestine, showing Palestinian children arriving at the San Francisco airport.

She subsequently posted about flights to St. Louis, San Antonio and Houston and claimed without evidence that the nonprofit’s work was connected to Hamas, tagging state and federal officials in her posts.

Representative Chip Roy, Republican of Texas, responded to her late on Friday on X, saying that he was “deeply concerned about the incoming flights” and was making inquiries.

Ms. Loomer said she spoke with Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday night to alert him to the flights and what she called the threat of an Islamic invasion....

Clearly, those who voted for trump voted to deny medical care to children....right, MAGA?

I think Loomer and Trump are on the losing side of an apparent civil war within the MAGA movement, sparked off when Trump got Epsteined by Israel. On the other side is Margerie Taylor Green, who is positioning herself quite nicely to take over Trump's base of supporters, whom are tired of Epstein scandal and tired frankly of Israel's unending meddling in U.S. politics. Trump is bleeding supporters, and MTG is lapping them up.

Loomer is thinking that MAGA's Islamophobia is still a strong horse to bet on. She's stuck in the early 2000's. . MTG thinks that in fact anti-semitism, and simple Israel-fatigue, are much stronger underpinnings of the MAGA movement. MTG, apparently, is amuch smarter and better politician than Loomer is. Ever since the Loomer-MTG war started, Loomer has increasing looked and acted like an Israel-first freak cultist, and MTG just keeps hoarding brownie points by repeating that she's America first, not Israel first.

I think MTG is winning this, and Im actually concerned looking in the future. I dont like MTG, I am hyper aware that she is racist. She's said crazy things about Jews and Muslims. But, she's proving to be a wily politician, and she might be forming a MAGA monster here that is anti-Israel, America-first, while Loomer and Rubio and Graham and the old Republican Guard tie themselves to the fast-sinking ship of ultra-Zionism. Both sides need to take note. Mamdani-types are way better to counter what I believe is the coming MTG-storm, so Democrats seriously, for once, be smart and lose the Israel anchor already!
