What? The media is applying a double standard here. The media has been saying the Capitol rioters were violent terrorists while the BLM rioters all summer long were called peaceful protesters and mothers formed walls to protect the rioters from the police. If a black unarmed woman who is no threat to anyone gets killed by police all hell breaks loose while an unarmed white woman who is no threat to anyone is killed by police she is referred to as a violent terrorist.

I don't know about everyone involved at the Capitol, but at least some of them were there with the intention to capture and/or kill congresspeople.
I don't think BLM has ever gone anywhere with the intent to capture and/or kill anyone.

Get real.. this woman at the Capital was a threat!!! she very well could have been a suicide bomber, besides they were breaking into locked doors with people behind them trying to protect the areas and she is still climbing over trying to get in. They were justified in shooting her, they would have been justified shooting "anyone" among these seditious insurrectionist who engaged in subversive terrorist acts of treason who was inside the Capital Building. These people chanted terrorist seditious mayhem and subversive murder in effort to engage treason, even before they broke in.

Which is correct, is it not? I would assume that the majority of folk who gathered to hear Trump etc. speak remained peaceful and law-abiding, but those who broke into the Capitol building were indeed using violence and intimidation against unarmed innocents to achieve political ends, the very definition of terrorism (although the more common term I've seen is 'insurrectionists').

Which is also correct; in the overwhelming majority (~93%) of demonstrations against police brutality there's been no violence or destruction of property. Obviously most of those peaceful protests weren't particularly newsworthy, hence the common perception of widespread rioting. But by implication in the relative handful of well-publicized protests which have involved violence or destruction, it's been either a small minority of demonstrators responsible or (as proven in some cases) police/right-wing agent provocateurs among the protestors or initiation of violence by uniformed police (or simple criminal looters taking advantage of distracted over-policing of protesters).
A study conducted by the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project found that about 93% of 7,750 protests from May 26 through August 22 remained peaceful and nondestructive.[33] There have been numerous reports and videos of aggressive police actions using physical force including "batons, tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets on protesters, bystanders and journalists, often without warning or seemingly unprovoked".[154]​

Are you trying to imply that it shouldn't? Killings by police are wildly out of control in the USA compared to other developed countries, that's a hard fact; 3-4 times the rate per million citizens of Canada or Australia, and 14-60 times the rates of England, Germany, New Zealand etc.

Are you talking about the woman who was trying to lead some of the rioters in smashing past a barricaded, locked door to get through to the Congressfolk just beyond? She clearly was an insurrectionist/terrorist according to the standard definitions. Are you trying to argue that because she, individually, in that particular instant posed no visible danger to anyone (besides perhaps the nearby officer who shot her) she must be some kind of martyr? The officer responsible has quite rightly been placed on administrative leave while the issue is investigated; what else did you want to happen? For her to be showered with "love" and called a "great patriot," a la Trump?
