McSally tells supporters to 'fast a meal' and donate to her campaign

More like women voters. She is not too well liked in AZ, she lost to Sinema, she will lose to Kelly.

Yes, there are a lot of Hispanic Women voters

Better?

Last poll I saw she was down 19 points. Eat your food and save your money, she's toast.

You said $1 eguals 10 meals.Cut off their food stamps and give them $7 a week to eat on.

That's a quote from the website of Feeding America. Do you not understand the ways that organizations such as Feeding America work? No, they do not take your one dollar donation and run to McDonald's to pick up a single burger. They partner with big companies like General Mills, Kellogg's and many corporate partners in addition to supermarkets and other sources.

'Feeding America focuses on the first three areas: farms, manufacturers and consumer-facing businesses. By partnering with leaders and local members of these industries, Feeding America can find ways to rescue more food that would have otherwise gone to waste—and feed more people in need. Watch this video to learn how the Feeding America network rescues food every day.'

And I just fed 250 Americans today. :2bow:

Perhaps these people can go to Food bank Churches?

I have one right down the street?

Church food banks have been absolutely overrun. Your suggestion of going to a church food bank shows how unaware you are of this food crisis for American families. The U.S. Dept of Agriculture puts it quite politically by describing the growing numbers of Americans waiting in long lines for food distribution as being "food insecure". Church pantries and food drives can't keep up with the growing numbers of people needing food. Last April, a food pantry in Omaha, Nebraska claims they used to support about 60 families a day with food, saw 900 on a single day after a tornado struck.

The problem isn't only more Americans being "food insecure", the donations that these food banks generally receive have been cut in half because people are scared and they're saving all the excess non-perishable food items they have for themselves.

Somehow, I don't believe that. Food is one of the cheapest things we have in America.

Yeah, well, some people don't have the money to pay even for "cheap" food to have a regular and to some extent "healthy" diet. Of hshlds, 20% make less than $25K/yr. The avg hshld spends $7,700/yr on food, being 2nd or 3rd highest budget item, depending on where you live, though most likely less than that avg for lower-income hshlds. The hunger figures are actually based on surveys of hshlds as to how many meals are skipped in a month, which is more a definition of “food security” whereas hunger is a definition to do with physiological condition that can only be determined by those medically qualified. It’s not like so many people in a constant state of hunger.
