Let's say that someone does a major act of domestic terrorism and claims they were doing it for conservative reasons, like Timothy McVeigh. I suspect the main talking point of the right would be "he's obviously a democat trying to make us look bad". You disagree?

It's a left wing conspiracy!(jkg).... each side left or right will attempt to blame the other side, actually I don't think the right would attempt that and if they did I would dismiss them as a loon. None the less what our government needs to do is operate with in the realm of the constitution and quit trying to circumvent it and then balme others when it goes wrong. The Tea party'ers which I am a member of, all we want is limited taxation, balanced budget, a constitutional government, stay out of unneccesary foreign intanglements, to actually be respresented by our government, protect our borders, protect our citizens, equal rights for everyone, don't force me into a program I don't wish to be a memeber of, quit telling how I should live my life. Last but not least IMO lets take care of our own citizens first before we try to heal the rest of the planet.

I'd like you to give me an example of the actions of Democratic activists being blamed on covert Republican agents.
 
I have no idea why McChrystal is fired. Sure, he said mocking things about his superiors, but then why shouldn't people critisize other people? He should have the right to say what he want. If Obama and other people were wrong in his opinion, then he has the right to say it. It's a freedom of speech issue. I finally see why conservatives are saying that Obama is socialist. Hell, people can't critisize Obama

I agree but being in the military and in command you do have to watch what you are saying as well as maintaining discipline amongst the ranks. What you say in the military has to be disciplined, distention amongst the ranks is a dangerous thing, although McChyrstal didn't not directly criticized Obama, but his staff did and McChyrstal is responsible for that. Now what transpired IMO did not warrant McChyrstal being relieved of duty. Your dead on BTW about Obama IMO.
