I see it totally different and the right common sense way. McCarthy put up the names of those Senators that have been known to be absolutely blind to truth (seeing only what they WANT to see) and therefore unable to offer any constructive input to an investigation of an insurrection that is the worst thing that has ever happened to us. In addition, these Republican Senators picked by McCarthy have actually stated that they don't see "a problem" to what happened on January 6th.

It was a problem with the thing that needs to be found out is who was the supporter and instigator of the insurrection. This is not a discussion as to whether it was an insurrection or not and that is what these individuals disqualified by Pelosi where going to push.

Investigations into something that has already been pre-conceived as not having happened are not investigations but a work of wasting time. This is too important to make it not important or partisan.

It is like going to the doctor with the likelihood of having cancer and the doctor not doing any tests and saying "It is nothing, take a pain killer and forget about it". You want such a doctor involved in your diagnosis?
