So there is already one Republican there and I suspect there will be at least 2 more before this is done if not a full panel of Republicans. McCarthy isn't pursuing anything the the SC. On what grounds? Pelosi has the authority. It was part of the rules passed by the congress before all this started. You should read the original 1-6 commission bill that was passed back in May. She gave into all republican demands and then they reneged.

This whole thing is on McConnell and McCarthy. Both blew their chance to participate and McCarthy just ran away like a spoiled little brat. Good riddance.
