McCarthy has pulled that crap so many times, I actually expect it every time he opens his mouth. Most people would have a little tinge of embarrassment
for just saying any thing that pops in their mind, knowing full well that they said the opposite before this time line.
Talk about "How in the hell do you sleep at night?" It's like some Aliens landed on earth only to find out that the whole damn bunch are a pack of lying assholes.

He's the last gasp of air from the original "Young Gun" Republicans from the 2010 era. Eric Cantor has been irrelevant for years now. Paul Ryan is a joke. Ole McCarthy is treading on thin ice trying to appease both Trump's radical far right base, and his fellow country club establishment Republicans who control him. IMO, if the GOP wins the house in November, I'm not convinced he'll actually be speaker.
