McCain has hired the same people who once smeared him during his 2000 presidential campaign. I know everyone here remembers how that campaign went down in flames in the South Carolina primary, due to the unsubstantiated rumors which surfaced, claiming that McCain had fathered a black child. McCain doesn't stop there. The Swiftboaters are also working for him. Do you know what that means? McCain will be our next president. That is because the average American will believe a smear job? How can the Democrats compete against that? Easy - bring up all the dirt that these guys threw on McCain in 2000, and I bet they do it too. They also are not above going below the belt. 2008 is going to turn out to be the slimiest and nastiest campaign in US history.
