DeSantis is tied to the GOP Elites. He won't ever pick someone who is America First.

It'll be someone from or approved by the Sea Island Group.

I don't think they have any complaints. That's the thing about those GOP Elites. They don't mind being in the minority.

And Trump picked Rubio for SOS in order to seat Lara in the Senate. Best laid plans, as they say. Wonder who else will be sacrificed in this Florida dust up..

imo, Trump, the American First Politicians in Congress are not Republicans. They are in the GOP but really are members of the Trump Party.
Which is what Trump is wanting to change the Republican Party to.

That’s not true and you know it. Musk has his tentacles in most counties on the planet, both business and political wise. He bought the US Presidency for a small, (compared to his ROI,) sum and Trump cannot figure out a way to get out from under. It’s going to be both interesting and more than a little unsettling, these next few years.

Lara graciously removed her name from consideration shortly after being told there was no way in hell she would ever get the Senate seat. I hear DeSantis told her to focus on her singing career, her version of Tom Petty's "I won't back down" is quite earsplitting.
