Trump claims that he had never seen/heard private citizen Whitaker’s remarks regarding the Mueller investigation. I’m not sure I believe that, but;

My question is to the legal eagles here: would the remarks Whitaker made disqualify him from a jury, if the case had to do with the Mueller investigation?

I don't see why it would. A jury is supposed to be made up of "your peers", not just people that like you and not just people that dislike you.

Whitaker having an opinion that the Mueller investigation is too loosely restricted is no different than someone else who believes that it's too restrictive.

No competent trial attorney (or even trial judge) would accept a juror with such overt prejudices.

Couldn't help thinking of England's Henry II (Trump) saying, "Will nobody rid me of this troublesome priest," namely Thos. Beckett (Mueller). In steps Reginald FitzUrse -- my fave name of the assassins -- aka Mathew Whitaker and kills Beckett in church.

It seems that the King did penance for his crime by being flogged publicly for his crime. Should the occasion arise, Trump, of course, will opt to take his swats from Stormy Daniels with a magazine with his pic on the cover.
