We all know the kid never pointed the gun at the cop or assaulted him with the knife. We all know its the same thing as Tamir Rice the cop just ambushed the kid and shot him to death because the cop was scared and just wanted to kill him.

Guarantee you they wont release the bodycam because it probably shows the cop driving up and executing him immediately with zero commands even though we are supposed to have a right to bare weapons in this country.

And this comes just as Chicago is about to release video of another cop executing a 13 year old kid who was playing with an airsoft gun.

We don't know that. Having a knife as well as a realistic looking gun seems a little less likely to be an innocent coincidence, and police claim that the details are confirmed by two witnesses, so we'll see. Could've been suicide by cop. Which doesn't necessarily justify the second, definitely-fatal shot.

Or... a 16 year old that plays lots of call of duty got ambushed by a chicken shit cop that instantly executed a kid. Common... the cop said after shootin the little kid, the kid fell to the ground. Then the kid brandished a knife and tried to get back up so the cop executed the kid. Hes a little 16 year old that weighs 120 pounds... He had no reason to execute the kid.

This is obviously bulllllllllshitt and the cop just ambushed the kid and double tapped him and invented the kid trying to hurt the cop.

I used to run around with a bb-gun and boyscout knife all the time when I was a kid. (Id never let a kid do it nowdays though seeing as cops can shoot them for having a bb-gun and get in zero trouble)

A) The straight A, honor-role student was playing in his driveway with a airsoft reinacting call of duty video game scenes. The cop sees the kid pointing what seems to be a gun off into the distance. The cop sneaks up on the kid and instantly shoots him. The kid flops to the ground and the cop sees the knife on the kid. The cop decideds he is still a threat and execute him while he is on the ground. The cop then goes "Ooops... Its just an airsoft. Oh well its the kids fault even though I could have stayed behind cover of my car and ordered him to put the weapon down until backup arrived."

B) The psychotic kid has been shooting his airsoft into neighbors yards and shattered hundreds of windows as he goes on his airsoft rampage. He sees the cop drive up and the kid looks up to the sky and screams, "FINALLY I DONT HAVE TO DO ANYMORE SCHOOL WORK!" Primal Death Psychotic Rampage drums through the kids head and he points his airsoft at the cop. "THIS IS FOR FORCING ME TO GET 4.0 GPS IN SCHOOL BASTARD!" but before the kid can shoot the deadly airsoft into the cops eyeball the cop counters with a defensive gunshot of mercy. The kid hits the ground as his fully automatic airsoft clatters to the ground. Then the kid screams "ITS TIME FOR EXTRA CREDIT BITCH!" and he springs back up like a gypsy tossing his knife from hand to hand as he rushes the cop. The cop barely has time to squeeze off 1 life saving defense shot before the Crazy Extra-Credit 4.0 GPA Killer Kid strikes him with his IQ enhanced knife strike skills and the cop choses life. Life over insanity as he mercy executes the kid.


Ya scenario A sounds WAY more plausable until I see the bodycam footage.

So, if you were an officer responding to a call regarding an "armed person" and one turned and pointed the "airsoft" gun at you...would you "pause" and assume it was a toy?

Point being, reactions will depend on the situation. Second guessing when one was not there is not helpful.

The officer will be facing review. Let the legal process wend it's course.

I would not fault the cop and would feel sorry for him if he yelled at the kid and the kid turned around with that thing in the picture above in his hand. Yeah that's plausible at least, and a non lethal shot at that, it sounds like.
The second shot nope unless someone can show me a video of him running at the cop with a knife. He needs firing and manslaughter charges at least.
And since there's no body cam and were not sure the police didn't already run around the neighborhood and grab everyone's ring camera there will be no video.
Hopefully these parents after the initial grief get busy trying to find out what happened to their kid.
