Marxism is a brilliant system, IF you’ve got the German taxpayers to pick up the tab for you. Otherwise it is ruinous.

Every German craftsman must work an extra hour each day to pay for the lavish lifestyle that this greasy little man flaunts in the name of Karl Marx:

Here I explode the web of lies that Yanis Varoufakis has spun to justify bringing Karl Marx back from the dead at this late date, over a century after his theory was shattered by Böhm-Bawerk:

Review of Varoufakis and Arnsperger

Why do the German workers allow this Marxist’s lies to go unanswered? Don’t they have any pride? Or are they just stupid and don’t know how to respond?

Uhhh what? How does what I just read have anything to do with your OP?

Better question: Who is Onion Eater and how come we keep getting people from 2008 and such that I have never heard of lately?

They're Greeks and Southern Euros. What do you expect?

Do you blame him? We believed in Father Christmas a got some cheap toys, He believes in Marxism and becomes a millionaire. :) It’s not the Germans per se; it’s all coming out of the European Union. It too is led by an elite bunch of millionaires.
Odd isn’t it that all those who work to pay for a workers paradise struggle and those who rule it find the paradise.

I love when people post about Marxism, when they have likely not read a single Marx book, and that Karl Marx was in fact not even a Marxist.

I find it telling that a country based on capitalism is so afraid to understand a powerful and prophetic critique of it:

"The final stages of capitalism, Marx wrote, would be marked by developments that are intimately familiar to most of us. Unable to expand and generate profits at past levels, the capitalist system would begin to consume the structures that sustained it. It would prey upon, in the name of austerity, the working class and the poor, driving them ever deeper into debt and poverty and diminishing the capacity of the state to serve the needs of ordinary citizens.
It would, as it has, increasingly relocate jobs, including both manufacturing and professional positions, to countries with cheap pools of laborers. Industries would mechanize their workplaces. This would trigger an economic assault on not only the working class but the middle class—the bulwark of a capitalist system—that would be disguised by the imposition of massive personal debt as incomes declined or remained stagnant.
Politics would in the late stages of capitalism become subordinate to economics, leading to political parties hollowed out of any real political content and abjectly subservient to the dictates and money of global capitalism."

That's whats so dangerous about Socialist Democracies. They're implemented slowly and eventually get to the point where they're so large and so controlling it's almost impossible for the average citizen to do anything about it.

It's ideology over reason and common sense and intelligent economic and fiscal planning.

Take Venezuela for example. It's one bad policy after another as the now massive Government, now festering with corruption does everything it can to mitigate it's own failures. Well everything but admit it's their policies and ideology that's caused the mess.

Take Venezuela for example.

The Ukraine under Yanukovych is another good example. Here I sort out what to call that type of government:

Definition of the Mafia, Fascism and Communism

FYI The Greek government is usually referred to as a Parliamentary Mafiocracy. This is basically what Hochbaum is promoting except that, without the Germans to prop him up, he would just print money and spend it into existence. Through a bizarre turn of logic, this is supposedly not inflationary because it does not involve bonds. Go figure.

The newspaper Suddentsche Zeitung writes:

"After a barrage of insults about terrorists and blackmailers, after slander and glaring distortions, there is no more basis for cooperation with Greece."

Actually, the slander and glaring distortions of Yanis Varoufakis can be traced to his association with the Post-Autistic Economics Network (now calling itself the World Economic Association) and not to his nationality. It is not just a Greek phenomenon; the WEA will ruin any country that they are able to foist their Marxist policies onto.

Texas connection to the Greek “No” vote | | Dallas Morning News

This connection is obvious if you Google "Galbraith Varoufakis" and observe that the two men have written so many joint statements and plugged one another so often that they are practically joined at the hip. What Ms. Halkias fails to mention is why they are so close. It is because Galbraith is a co-founder of the Post-Autistic Economics Network (now calling itself the World Economics Association) and it is them who drove Greece into the ground. This also explains the slander and glaring distortions that Varoufakis was noted for. Shrieking "Terrorist!" or "Autistic!" into the faces of their opponents is just standard operating procedure for Post-Autistic Economists like Galbraith.

This will be a common sight in America if Galbraith succeeds in implementing the Marxist agenda that he implemented in Greece through his pawn Varoufakis. Americans should be under no illusion that events in Greece are a world away and of little concern to us because we do not use the Euro. Marxism is on the march and it is Galbraith, an American, who leads this march, not Varoufakis. If left unchecked, Galbraith will soon reduce America to despair and ruin, just as he has already done to Greece.

You do realize that Greece, for the last 25 years has been following a strict neo-liberal economic policy right? .... And that they've had a marxist Finance minister for literally just a few months, and a minister who hasn't implimented ANY economic policy. ....

The Marxist rhetoric spewing from the mouths of “economists” like Galbraith and Varoufakis would have us believe that the Greek debt crisis is all the fault of those nasty Scrooge-like Germans who would tear blankets from the backs of orphans on a cold night just to satisfy their rigid Teutonic accounting rules.

But the reality is that the Germans loaned the Greek government a tremendous number of euros and now – rather belatedly – they are discovering that that government does not have a euro to its name. So let us ask the obvious question:

Question: What happened to all those German-loaned euros and where are they now?

Answer: They were funneled to the mafia in an oil export scam set up specifically for this purpose. They are now in the Cayman Island bank accounts of high-ranking Greek Mafioso.

Greece: Oil Smuggling Helps Define the 'Parliamentary Mafiocracy' | OilPrice.com

But what surprises Kostakos most is that no one in Europe seems to understand that the Greek mafia is behind the current economic crisis. “It is a colossal failure of the political elite in Europe who have not communicated this properly to the public.”

This link explains the scam, though the details of how the funneling of money to the mafia is accomplished are of little concern because – once a government is given over to corruption – they will figure out one scam or another to funnel money to their Mafioso friends. When Galbraith – encouraged by his looting of the Greek economy – attempts a similar scam on the U.S. government, it probably won’t involve oil exports. Mayonnaise futures, for all I know.

In point of fact, the Greek oil export scam has its roots in the simplistic mercantilist policies that Marxists still believe in, even though mercantilism was refuted at the same time that the labor theory of value was refuted, over a century ago. Duh! But the fact that the scam for funneling money to the mafia is associated with mercantilism is all the more evidence that the Marxists have been arm-in-arm with the mafia from the word “Go!” Mafia, Marxist – same thing.

Of course, the Germans are not entirely faultless either. Loaning money to the mafia does not exactly qualify one for Mensa. The Bundesbank should have known better.

You're an idiot ... have you read anything Yanis Varufakis has written? He never said that the crisis is only the fault of Germany ... he didn't say that at all.

You're an idiot.

I'm an idiot? According to Varoufakis, I'm a terrorist/blackmailer/autistic. If you had read Varoufakis, you would at least know which invective to shriek when you encounter a real economist.

Half the time you are hurling insults at me and the other half you are vainly claiming that no insults have ever been uttered - no how, no way.

But the one thing you are not doing is addressing the substance of my post.
