What has Jack to do with this?
The side that will lose.
I see that critical thinking skills aren’t a part of your intellectual toolbox. Pity.
Often in court cases you know that you are going to win or loose.
If you think you are going o loose you drag the process out for as long as possible because it might just go away.
When a large component of your case was going to be all the rest of the scientific community coming along and saying how you had t 100% right and the other guy was totally out of order and they all, yes all, of them tell your layers that they are on the opposite side of the argument, you start to get a message.
So you think the guy who is actually suing for damages ‘knows’ he will lose and is stretching the case out as long as possible.
‘Bonkers’ is the first word that comes to mind.

Bonkers.
Bonkers.

LOL.
I bet the defendant says that in every case they know will lose in the next round.
Sure. That's why Steyn, the defendant, has been trying to push the case forward. And why Mann, the plaintiff, has been stalling. Steyn wants Mann in court.
Yes. I’m sure he says that too.
:lamo
No one actually cares about what a anti-science propaganda outlet thinks abut this.
It sure looks like Mann's fragile ego, is going to cost him lots of money. The noose tightens.

Getting Expensive for Mann
[FONT=&]Michael Mann has lost a motion in the DC Superior Court. He will now be responsible for the majority of legal costs for discovery in his perpetual libel suits against Steyn and the National Review.
