Marjorie Taylor Geene Giving Away 50 Caliber Rifle

So after reading 2 pages of comments, I am concluding that most conservatives here at least, approve of MTG and her nasty adds. To each his own I guess.

Does not say much about the state of America. Some people care more about guns than anything else. Have at it.

MTG is a attention whore. No debate about it.

But, she also represents a group of people who are tired of comments just like a couple of posters have made on here.

They probably don't care for her either as a person, but probably think it's nice to have a voice when people like this one above in bold spouts off his nonsense.

Let our soldiers shoot our enemies. Civilians aren't supposed to be running around half cocked pretending to be GIJoe (or Jane). MGT has been way out of line since the beginning with her belligerent attitude about using guns. She's not military and it's not okay to keep posturing that she's going to destroy her political enemies while holding a big rifle.

Not impressed. I hope the grassroots in her district are trying at least to get that woman out of Congress.
 
I spent a few minutes trying to figure out who paid for this ad. (No one shown on the ad.) Best guess is that the Stop Socialism Now PAC paid for the ad and it was organized by Rick Shaftan, a North Carolina-based consultant. According to ProPublica, Shaftan and the Stop Socialism Now PAC have produced several ads for MTG in which things are blown up.

I have no proof that the above cited PAC paid for the ad. Here's a link for the ProPublica article that discusses MTG's history of ads and her association with the consultant (a gun nut and racist) and the PAC.

Is it for personal protection from muggers, or is it for hunting?

Or is it just a stupid weapon that goobers want to fulfill that need to pretend they can overthrow tyrannical governments that want to do evil things like require vaccinations in pandemics?

I also hope so. But I wouldn't hold my breath. I've seen interviews of her supporters. They left their teeth at home and they worship the Donald. Most of them couldn't afford an ordinary pistol or even read the manual, let alone a cannon like MTG is giving away. They think she's cool. (n)

it was made just to trigger hysterical anti gun lefties who pretend they want to stop crime by banning it. here's the point-no one can find a single case of one of these rifles being used in a violent crime in the USA so the weapon served its purpose: by existing, it caused the anti gun hysterics to scream for a ban to stop crime-when no crimes have been committed with one

I've never seen anyone kill 50+ people in 10 minutes with a bowling ball, or a golf club, or a fishing pole. Just because no one has actually killed someone with a 50 caliber rifle doesn't mean it can't happen.

But it won't ever happen if the gun is banned. Just saying.
