it should be treated like alcohol.
Even if it were to be legalized, which I do not believe will happen any time in the near future, I will not use it nor will I allow it to be used around me or by those who wish to be involved in my life. I would not allow it in my home, in my car, anywhere that I have control over. It's just that simple.
I also have a limitation in my living will that I will not accept any THC-derived therapy or pain medication.
Oh, and YES, I feel the same way about alcohol and tobacco.
Good it will help keep the price down.
I like the odd tourist (most visit Amsterdam) in my local coffeeshop, first time they enter they're looking around like a kid who in Disney land.
Another reason not to visit Europe.

Y U B hatin on Europe?
I'm crying dude, hope you're happy now.
Alcohol is a toxin, pot is not.
they're both intoxicants. as i said, i think it should be treated like alcohol; basically, an adult could buy prepackaged or brew their own for personal use. what do you support?
Well, knock me down with a feather - Pot is the cure-all for all of humankind's ailments!
How amazing! We must get this wonder cure to everyone as quickly as possible.

Pot is not a toxin. Toxin means poison. Too much alcohol can kill you. This is not the case with pot and that's a fact. Show me evidence that anyone has overdosed on pot.
you're preaching to the choir. i support full legalization for adults.
THC is an intoxicant, meaning that it causes a state of intoxication. while there might be a fatal dose possible, i tend to doubt many if any have ever achieved it, unless they were injecting hashish oil.

That is probably true about hash oil.
I have not seen that around for thirty years.
Does your living will preclude opiates?
I just don't know why you'd reject a pharmaceutical derivative, especially with the anti-cancer properties and its superiority for chronic pain management (which is NOT from thc but the OTHER cannabinoids, the ones that don't get you high)
Sorry, but I was being facetious.I have been with cancer victims who said the same thing. One of the best medical uses for pot is for people who have no appetite. A couple of tokes and they get the screaming munchies.
