The Marine Corp Marathon was yesterday in DC. Any marathon runners out there?

I have been a marathon runner. I had an ankle injury earlier this year and am currently striving to get back into marathon shape. Unfortuantely, I am missing this marathon season here in Taiwan and will hopefully be on the marathon circuit next fall.

I'm not a marathon runner but generally I will run 5 miles and a 10 mile run once a week with some speed interval training. Generally, I try to mix weight training with running as well, not bulk up too much, just enough to get toned up and build a little muscle. Bulking up too much seems to hurt my run times.

I only run marathons that have a 48 hour time limit and smoke breaks...

I was training for the Marine Corp race, but injured my knee from overuse because of a previous knee injury on the opposite knee. I hope to get back out there and be able to run 10 miles every two weeks or so. I think I'm going to have to stick with the shorter runs from now on.
