Mandatory quarantine issued for people living in 30 large houses linked to COVID-19 in East Lansing

Minnie since when do health departments make laws?

Here is a list giving the Health Department the right to enforce a mandatory Quarantine and yes the laws have been in effect many years before this current pandemic.

A person who violates a rule or order of the department is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 6 months, or a fine of not more than $200, or both. MCL 333.2261
�� An individual may be arrested if violation occurs in the presence of a police officer, or the police officer has reasonable cause to believe individual has violated a rule or order.

Yes, with luck. Any so-called 'judge' recklessly stupid enough to make a ruling like this needs to get an education.

How would a Brit go about giving a U.S. judge who rules from the bench an education?
