Manafort Could Totally Escape Jail With Trump Pardon

That isn't the reason. the reason he is not going to pardon anyone who can implicate him is that doing so would remove 5th amendment rights.

In the annals of history, there has been more than one conviction of an innocent person. Yes, they are guilty in law, but not necessarily in fact.

Look, we get that you don't care if Trump is corrupt. You only care about corruption when it's the other side. That's OK. Not everyone has integrity. No need to make these ridiculous defenses of a corrupt politician.

Well, there is one big difference between the two. With Hillary, there is direct evidence she DIDN'T do what the right wing want to accuse her of, and in the case of Sherrif Joe, there is direct evidence he did.

Complete nonsense. The Logan Act? Really? How about Lurch Kerry running over to Iran to try to scuttle Trump's withdraw from the Iran Nuclear deal? That was as clear a violation of the Logan Act as has happened in our lifetimes. The left said nothing, of course.



#1-Wrong. Trump could give Stormy $1M of his own money. It's 100% legal. Maybe you've never heard of a non-disclosure agreement.

#2- Wrong. An incoming administration not only may but, by all rights should, talk with their international counterparts as part of the preparation for governing. As noted, the left was all for actual violations of the Logan Act by Kerry.

#3- Really? Have you seen Trump's taxes? Has the IRS ever charged him with a thing?

#4- Wrong. There was no obstruction because no criminal investigation was in progress. It was also 100% legal for Trump to pursue business as a private citizen.
