Don't know the Russian legal system, but I like the first court's take on it and considering they ruled the bank is contractually on the hook here, I think he has a chance of winning. More power to him!

On that part I agree, but I think his penalties are unreasonable. As for the possible fraud, I am a little more conflicted. It isn't like he ran up huge balances and did not make any payments.

Good for him, I hope he wins his lawsuit. If the bank was dumb enough to sign it without reading it, they deserve what they're getting.

Hopefully he gets off on the fraud charge too, I can't see how anyone reasonable could possibly construe what he did as fraud.
