(Reuters) - A man was shot in the wrist at a New Jersey mall crowded with Black Friday shoppers and police evacuated the building as they tried to find the shooter.

Police received reports of shots fired at the Mills at Jersey Gardens mall in Elizabeth, New Jersey, around 8 p.m. on Friday, said Lieutenant Todd Kelly of the Elizabeth Police Department.

There was another shooting at an Alabama mall. And the shooter was a former military man. I don't condone these former military men murdering innocent people but there is something very wrong with their mental health.

But the republicans keep sending them to wars - so they can get rich - and when they return home without limbs or suffering PTSD - they refuse to increase funding to help them.

And Cadet Bone Spurs thinks PTSD is a hoax!!!

No. The person shot by the police (Bradford) was indeed a former military man. The police said he was the shooter, but they said that because they had to justify shooting him. As it turns out, they shot the wrong man and the actual shooter is at large.

In the evening, police released an extraordinary statement: “We regret that our initial media release was not totally accurate, but new evidence indicates that it was not,” it reads. The statement said, “New evidence now suggests that while Mr. Bradford may have been involved in some aspect of the altercation, he likely did not fire the rounds that injured the 18-year-old victim. when a shooting victim refuses to cooperate with the Po Po, it is usually due to one of two things.

1) the person shot was also involved in illegal activities and either doesn't want the cops looking at him too hard or he plans on getting even his own way, without the help of the law

2) he's more scared of being branded a rat than of the people who shot him
