Another police abuse case. :doh

DENVER - What started as a walk to the park ended with a trip to the hospital for a Denver dog owner. 32-year-old Mark Ashford says he was beaten black and blue by two Denver Police officers.

"They punched him and pinned him up against the fence and forced his head into the concrete." Ashford's attorney, Will Hart, said the beating that was caught on camera is a clear case of Excessive Force. "This happened when he was walking his dogs, he has a conversation with another citizen that the police officer doesn't like and as a result, he ends up in the hospital," said Hart.

Too hard to tell anything except the fact that the Officers throwing punches wasn't justified as far as I could tell from the video.
Everything else is a bunch of media smoke and mirrors. Kept focusing on the "dog walker" aspect instead of the fact that the guy interfered with the stop. The media story also screwed the details, leaving out the part that he was being arrested, appeared to be cooperating and allowing the arrest, and then suddenly started resisting. They "conveniently" skipped mention of this part in order to paint the "bad cops" image even more. Media like that makes me sick.

This is why cops really have to watch out, because people like this asshole try to push buttons so they can get paid, but I can assure you he is anything BUT some innocent guy just trying to help out.

Were the cops wrong? Yes.
Is the media wrong for leaving out the details? Yes Including the fact that this is from 2009.
Was the guy wrong too? Yes.

Didn't look so bad to me. The cop got off the guy about a milisecond after he got him cuffed.
