Making new pistol grips....

A friend of mine needed new grips for a pistol he has, and they are hard to come across. So he sent me some examples that were way messed up, as well as some castings of the handle of the gun. I fiddled about in CAD and made a model as best I could with what I had.

Today I used some scrap pine I had sitting around and cut out the first test grip to 1) see how it fit and 2) to figure out how I was going to go about cutting a double sided item.

Came out well. Shots of cutting back, then front. Shot of back and front of the grip after being cut, as well as one of the molds he sent to me of the handle and the grip on it.
