Let me just say this.............

It is about friggin' time.

Hundreds of illegal immigrants were arrested, along with 7 executives of IFCO Systems, which was the company employing them. I sincerely hope that the judge gives sentences according to the sentencing guidelines for this kind of crime, and these executives end up managing license plate machines behind prison walls.

We still have the problem of employers rewarding lawbreakers, but at least this is a start. I look forward to more busts in the near future.

Article is here

Awesome. I hope you're right, dan

I believe this to be the best way to combat illegal immigration, dry up the jobs and they have no reason to come. oh and build a big friggin wall:2razz:

Err, I don't like it, it's been widely accepted, now this, it stinks! They should shut down the border, and start again, and get it right, but it's hypocritical to take action in this way, they(the government) created this situation, now they make some easy arrests.

You could be right on the "easy arrests". This could very well be political, but at least its a start. This problem was mostly created by the Democrats, but Republicans have seemed to go along for the most part. Perhaps the Republicans are finally growing some balls on this issue. I just wish the Dems would grow a pair as well. The future of America is at stake, IMHO.
