MAGA Vs GOP

Call it the crazies vs the establishment, or the Q vs the Money, or Nazis vs Conservatives, or whatever you want to call the two factions.

In essence it is MAGA versus the Grand OLD Party (emphasis on old, as in the traditional GOP).


Trouble is, as we saw on Jan 5 in Georgia, where both GOP Senate seats fell, and across the USA on Nov 3 when Trump lost by 8 million votes...

So, we have a clash. And, given the news of the past few days, with Mitch blasting Don and then Don blasting Mitch, the war is on.
There is simply no way around this fight for Republicans. This is unstoppable force and immoveable object stuff. Both sides can't win.

Analysis: Why the Republican Party is poised to tear itself apart

In the last 48 hours, two things have happened that suggest the Republican Party is likely headed to an all-out civil war:

Now, we need to guess which side wins.
 
They have been programmed for decades to hate Democrats much more than they hate each other. They don't even actively reject nazis. I don't see the split making it to the polls. The Democrats can't count on it.
 
My bet is that trump has an impact on 2022 repub candidates, by 2024 not so much. That prediction assumes he is still a free man in 2024.
 
MAGA is much closer to the traditional (pre-war) GOP than the RINOs are.
 
At this point, we don't know if it'll be MAGA or a Trump controlled GOP. But either way, Trump will come out on top.

The Dems better polish their election fraud tactics...they are going to need them in 2022 and 2024.
 
ISIS was defeated so I believe MAGA can be defeated. My big fear would be ISIS and MAGA joining forces.

The MAGA have the passion, but no money. So, yeah. The question remains. Will the money people ignore the Nazis among them in order to get their tax cuts, deregulation and a chance to dismantle Social Security and Medicare?

I'm pretty sure I know that answer.
 

Same here. I suck at predictions, but that one isn't that hard. Democrats need to pretend like they're down twenty points constantly.

I love a good car wreck, and from the safe distance of my Canadian front porch, I am hoping Don will do his worst with the Republican party
 
Democrats will screw it all up, and Republicans will be back. wait for it..........

Eat lintels. That's the ticket. It lowers cholesterol, has all sorts of protein and vitamins. Tastes good too.

mine is naturally high, though it is mostly the good cholesterol. my bad cholesterol is low. i'll have to start paying attention to that at some point, though. it's on my list.
 

Here's a scenario based off that: Tweety ruins the GOP, there are only crazies left and Big Money pulls out....

....only to sponsor more Dems instead, forcing them back to the 'center' (corporatist policies) and bye bye progressivism.
