Harvey Weinstein, a very big criminal, wrote a one million dollar check for "cash bail"

Many people sit in jail waiting for a trial (even when innocent) because they can't pay the bail. Bail bondsmen charge up to 10% to put up bail. Even if case is dismissed, the accused owes the bail bondsman.

So cash bail is not really a fair system. There have been attempts to eliminate it for years. This is not a new issue. Many peaceful protesters that are rounded up and jailed spend days and weeks in prison. It's a system that deserves some investigation. Being against cash bail does not equal being for violent riots.

Turn-of-the-century compulsory education laws. Before that, many kids didn't have to attend school. Kinda' like now.

The whole slogan is about 4 more years.

I wouldn't even want 4 more days of what we've endured over the current leadership.

It should more aptly be labeled as MAWA, Make America Worse Again. Four more years!

I would say that is a different issue. Has Trump been making private donations to any causes? Or just billing the taxpayers for his use of his own businesses?

I can't imagine anyone leaving us in the shape Trump has. He says he will put Dr. Fauci in charge of the pandemic, and give him the independence to do his job. That's good enough for me. Ending the pandemic is the key to bringing back normalcy and unlocking the economy (and schools) for everyone.
