Sounds like a violation of federal and state law...

Louis DeJoy’s prolific campaign fundraising, which helped position him as a top Republican power broker in North Carolina and ultimately as head of the U.S. Postal Service, was bolstered for more than a decade by a practice that left many employees feeling pressured to make political contributions to GOP candidates — money DeJoy later reimbursed through bonuses, former employees say.

Five people who worked for DeJoy’s former business, New Breed Logistics, say they were urged by DeJoy’s aides or by the chief executive himself to write checks and attend fundraisers at his 15,000-square-foot gated mansion beside a Greensboro, N.C., country club. There, events for Republicans running for the White House and Congress routinely fetched $100,000 or more apiece.

Two other employees familiar with New Breed’s financial and payroll systems said DeJoy would instruct that bonus payments to staffers be boosted to help defray the cost of their contributions, an arrangement that would be unlawful.

Nobody cares (cept us peons in the prolitariat), and Presidential Lapdog Attorney Barr will make sure no one is held accountable. Patriotic grift is still patriotic and all (GOP) rules are for Democrats and politcal opponents of the exalted one, master of all humans, beasts, and fishes, his Orange™ eminence, don'tcha know!

I swear the more documentaries I watch about Idi Amin, the more I realize Amin was proibably actually smarter then the Donald™, and the ONLY reason Trump® isn't more ruthless than Amin was is, that he can't get away with it, yet....

I hope so, but I'm preparing myself for Bill Barr stealing this election and Putin style future elections. I give us about a 60/40 chance of being in that position next year. Then that guy will be conveniently "purged" along with any etthical "non loyal" government officials.

Don't be surprised when he launches "Operation Orange™ Condor®", around February next year, with Stephen Miller heading that up...

Add another Trump pardon to the pile (assuming he's investigated before he leaves office).

Barr can't touch Stein, he is the attorney general of the state of North Carolina... North Carolina also has campaign finance laws...

Yeah for now, he can't. If the cheat works, you have confidence institutions will hold? It's a sucker's bet, to bet most of these assclowns face justice either way IMO. But if Trump® "wins", they'll have their ways of extorting outcomes.

My one hope is Kamala's inner attack dog prosecuter side comes out and she refuses to let it go, assuming the people are heard and respected in thise election.

With only 58 days left before the election, I predict the next 30-45 days are going to be full of people coming out of the woodwork....

The rats jumping ship, could well be our best hope. If anything can foul up the cheating and wreck tweety's plan, it's that.

I still think, EXACTLY like Nazi germany (which no I am not comparing it, YET), Imperial Japan, or every lawless regime that ever was, most of the asshats in on the grift and criminal activity slither easily off their hooks....

No matter what, 9 out of 10 of the crimes of the admin will go with no one being held accountable. If not more than 9 of 10.

Straw donations are a felony. Back in the day, President Clinton's DoJ prosecuted several people for it, including Clinton donors!
There's a concept for Trump to wrap his head around!

I’m not comparing it to NAZI germany, but I just compared it to NAZI Germany.

“Louis was a national fundraiser for the Republican Party. He asked employees for money. We gave him the money, and then he reciprocated by giving us big bonuses,” said David Young, DeJoy’s longtime director of human resources, who had access to payroll records at New Breed from the late 1990s to 2013 and is now retired. “When we got our bonuses, let’s just say they were bigger, they exceeded expectations — and that covered the tax and everything else.”

No anonymous sources here! On the record with the records to prove it!

Looks like it will be up to the state to prosecute this case.

Another example of the kind of people Trump attracts.

A local business man spent a couple of years in jail for doing the exact same thing, for a local politician .

It could very well be under state charges
