Often there's the tape to prove it, so I don't where that came from.

In this case the best supporters can say is because of the anecdotal he-said-she-said nature, it cannot be definitively proven. However we have several corroborating sources that say the same thing and there's a widely-seen video of Trump himself saying something similar in the context of John McCain.

It's totally his MO even if there isn't the PWOOF!TM his fanbois cry for.

I said in the other poll about the same topic, yes this disqualifies him as much as many other things he's said and done over the years, going right back to his first run.

But his base won't see it that way. For them there is no bottom anymore.

Had McCain not been the son and grandson of Navy Admirals he would have been banned from flying and probably thrown out of the Navy. He wreck several aircraft while doing what was termed "daredevil clowning". It was also reported that he was disobeying orders when he got himself shot down in Vietnam.

Trump long ago disqualified himself as Commander in Chief of the US military. Let's just hit the highlights here:

Trump speaking about McCain:
"He's not a war hero," Trump said. "He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured."

To a Gold Star family:
"Had I been president, Captain Khan would be alive today."

That is literally the most despicable thing imaginable that you could ever say to a family that lost their son in combat, fighting for this country. It is telling them that their son died for nothing.

What Trump said about General George Allen:
"You know who he is? He's a failed general. He was the general fighting ISIS. I would say he hasn't done so well, right?"

In October 2017, Trump forgot the name of slain US army Sgt. La David Johnson, while he was on the phone with his widow. Johnson was killed in an ambush in Niger while in active service. Myeshia Johnson said the call with Trump made her cry, and that Trump told her that her husband "knew what he had signed up for."

In January 2019, Trump said retired four-star General Stanley McChrystal, who led US forces in Afghanistan between 2009 and 2010, was fired by former President Barack Obama "like a dog."

In October 2019, Trump called his former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, a retired four-star general, "the world's most overrated general," after also saying Mattis wasn't tough enough.

Trump has openly absolved the dictator Kim Jong Un of his role in ordering the torture and murder of American citizens.

Trump has openly sided with Putin against U.S. intelligence.

Trump not only ignored Russian bounties on U.S. soldiers, but he has also rewarded Russia in spite of them.

When polled, a majority of servicemen are voting for Biden. Trump’s popularity slips in latest Military Times poll — and more troops say they’ll vote for Biden

Our son is serving. He could be deployed to Bagram where Russia will pay any asshole in Afghanistan $100k for his life. Yet Trump does nothing to Russia for it. Think about that, think about all the Air Force and Marine American servicemen serving this country in Afghanistan with a $100k Russia bounty on their lives and Trump does nothing. We know for a fact that Russia is arming Afghan militants and Trump does nothing. In fact, when questioned on it in an interview, Trump said that we did things to Russia in Afghanistan back in the 80s as though that makes it okay. Seriously what team is this piece of **** on? I am on team America myself. I don't give a **** what we did to the former Soviet Union over 30 years ago, yet Trump thinks that's an excuse for Russia's actions today.

Trump and the Gang are pushing back hard against this one. The military is one of the few hopes Trump had of winning, but his approval is sinking with troops. Failure to react to Russian bounties will do that.

I heard the reporting news source made sure to verify he said it and one high ranking Pentagon official and one high ranking Marine both verified the story. We shall see but this could be a re-election killer for trump, because not only will he lose the military vote he would lose the support of most Vets and those that believe in supporting our men and women in uniform.
 
Did Trump say these things? He might of, its the sort of thing he would say, you cant deny that, so he must of, of course he said these things, we dont need proof.

Yes, But with a note. He is not qualified to do any presidency related job. In order to qualify for president you should have some qualities such as (but not limited to...):
- Intelligence.
- Integrity.
- Negotiation skills.
- Knowledge about the world and its history.
- Knowledge of legal matters.
- Knowledge of social matters.
- Trustworthy.
- Speak coherently. Not like an 8 year old.

Needless to say that The Trumpet has so far failed on every single one of the above aspects of being a president.
