This morning, Democrat mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot got real short with a reporter for their pointing out that looters took advantage of the lack of consequences seen in riots after George Floyd's death:

I have to hand it to the left. They want to let prisoners go from jail. They want to defund or disband the police. They want to allow protesters to riot. They want police to be attacked and killed at an alarming rate but if one black person is killed they will burn the cities down. They don't want federal help. They got what they want, increased crime in every city where these things are happening.
