Since I got into a discussion on this message board regarding Stalin on a thread that does not relate to Stalin, I decided to start a thread on Stalin. Here is a debating point:

Did Stalin plan to attack Hitler first but Hitler merely beat Stalin to the punch and pre-empted him?
 
I agree with that. Stalin was an expansionist. this could go in the 'History' topic.
