Their hatred for Trump has denied the left the ability to recognize bad behavior when it comes from someone they see as on their side. In the eyes of the left, Trump is bad, therefore anything goes. There is no line that cant be crossed, no action or behavior to vile that the left wont applaud. In fact, if you notice, the more outrageous the behavior, the stronger the defense. The left sees their anger as righteous anger. Therefore anything goes.
