Listen to the words of the Colorado shooter's father...

that's the original report. the tweet is exaggerated, imo, but it's real
I just watched the 20 min interview with the father at that link. If the mother was anything like the father then the guy never had a chance. I mean, people want to blame MAGA and Trump and Christians and whatever for all this stuff but maybe, just maybe, meth head parents are part of the problem. At any rate, the father doesn't seem to have had anything to do with the shooter. Last saw the guy a decade ago and talked to him on the phone once last year.

His words are not unique...

I see the OP is misleading readers with a false narrative again.

I would rather it be false as well.
It is false. Here are the facts:

Defense attorneys said late Tuesday that the suspect is nonbinary and in court filings referred to the suspect as “Mx. Aldrich.” The attorneys’ footnotes assert that Aldrich is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.

Prosecutor Michael Allen repeatedly referred to the suspect as “he” during a press briefing after the hearing and said the suspect’s gender status would not change anything about the case in his opinion. Allen said Aldrich was “physically competent” to stand charges.

Ankeny set the next hearing for Dec. 6.

Aldrich’s name was changed more than six years ago as a teenager, after filing a legal petition in Texas seeking to “protect himself” from a father with a criminal history including domestic violence against Aldrich’s mother.

Aldrich was known as Nicholas Franklin Brink until 2016. Weeks before turning 16, Aldrich successfully petitioned a Texas court for a name change, court records show. A petition for the name change was submitted on Brink’s behalf by his legal guardians at the time.

“Minor wishes to protect himself and his future from any connections to birth father and his criminal history. Father has had no contact with minor for several years,”
said the petition filed in Bexar County, Texas.

Let that sink in: “Minor wishes to protect himself and his future from any connections to birth father and his criminal history. Father has had no contact with minor for several years,”

Meanwhile the OP sows poisoned seeds for a cheap political score. It's pretty grotesque when you consider someone who's slandering their political enemies using fresh corpses and a manufactured narrative to peddle their hate.

Meanwhile, back to the facts of the case, a 22-year old male who identifies as "non-binary", with a known mental illness and red flag warnings, previous gun purchases denied, and on cops radar shot up a gay bar for as yet unknown reasons. Until those reasons are determined expect the peanut gallery to stoke hatred and fear among their base with lies, name calling, and political muckraking.

Nothing is too low for them to harvest.
