According to Wikipedia, in 2009, this is the breakdown of all elect power sources.

Coal fired plants... 44.9 percent

Natural gas fired... 23.4 percent

Nuclear power plants... 20.3 percent

Hydroelectric sources... 6.9 percent

Solar panels and wind mills... 3.6 percent

Petroleum power plants... 1 percent

..... Total, 100 percent

Since all are still growing, the proportion ratio should stay pretty much the same (solar and windmill power have yet to be added to a power grid)
