I just got an email saying a new and very dangerous virus has come out
this past Saturday called "Life is Beautiful". This is what it said...
VERY IMPORTANT WARNING !!!!

Please Be Extremely Careful especially if using internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning direct from both Microsoft and Norton.

Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet.
You may receive an apparently harmless email with a Power Point presentation "Life is beautiful."

If you receive it DO NOT OPEN THE FILE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, and delete it immediately. If you open this file, a message will appear on your screen saying: "It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful."

Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC and the person who sent it to you will gain access to your NAME, E-MAIL, AND PASSWORD. This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the anti-virus software's are not capable of destroying it. The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself "life owner."

PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THIS EMAIL TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS and ask them to PASS IT ON IMMEDIATELY.
So I'm just giving everyone a heads up.

Everyone except TOT!

You are hilarious! :rofl

What is the hacker going to do with your name, email, and password if you lost everything on your computer anyway? Not like he/she can log in and steal any information if it's all gone. Guess he didn't think that one through.

They can probably get some information or something off of your computer before it deletes everything. Hackers are jerks.

Billo, the warning you posted is the actual virus. This is one of those hoaxes meant to flood email servers with bogus crap, started by someone who wants to create a virus but is too stupid/lazy to program a real one.

Life is beautiful Hoax - Symantec.com

McAfee – Computer Anti-Virus Software and Internet Security For Your PC

As a general rule, if it says the virus will delete your hard drive or delete all the files on your hard drive, it's probably a hoax.
