I don't know which planet you are on but the Bay area has always been known to be on their own planet. My wife is from there and we just visited there last year. Great scenery and things to do. The people are liberal idiots. We stayed at an AirBNB where the owners proudly proclaimed that they pay their cleaning person a living wage, except for the fact that the cleaning fee was 100% or more charged to me. In other words, they didn't even pay their cleaning person a dime. I paid her wages.

I share the same planet with Trump people who keep telling everyone else how nervous we must all be. I mean, if your point is that the country is terrified of Trump winning again, yup. If your point is there’s some secret surge that only likely boaters know about, congrats on the wife. At least you knew where to go to find a good woman. ;)

Are you really going to deny that the donkey is a pathological liar? I think that at this point we can stipulate that as fact. If you like I can produce a long list of his lies and deceptions, the most serious of which is deceiving the American people about the seriousness of the pandemic. I don't want a jackass lower form of life as my leader. Not that Biden is the greatest thing around, but at least he isn't an embarrassment.

It's just funny that the owners of the place proudly proclaimed that they pay a living wage to their housekeeper. If I remember correctly, the cleaning fee I paid was $200. Assuming that the cleaning person cleaned for 5 hours at $20 per hour, that's $100 and I paid $200. Someone got a $100 tip.

Yes, I was just commenting to the other poster about the hypocrisy of the left in the Bay area when the airbnb owners there proudly proclaimed that they paid their cleaning lady a living wage when, in fact, I paid her wages and they didn't pay her a dime. In fact, more than likely, not only didn't they pay her at all because I did, but they also pocketed the missing $100 for themselves.

Keeping the extra $100 is unethical, if thats what happened. I don't know the full story of course. Indirectly you always pay for services received. If you pay a company to send a plumber out to repair something you also pay the plumber, indirectly.

Even I don't know the full story of all of it but I do know they were fudging the truth when they proudly proclaimed that they pay their cleaning lady a living wage when, in fact, I was the one who was charged the cleaning fee, even if it was them who technically paid it. They probably are the ones who set the amount of the cleaning fee and I'm sure they set the fee high enough so that they could pay their cleaning lady a living wage but I'm still the one who paid it through the cleaning fee. I highly doubt that they paid the lady the whole $200, but I guess it's not impossible. I do know that we checked out at 11AM and new people were checking in that same day about 3PM so that's only 4 hours of possible work, which would be $50 per hour. Now that really is a living wage but I'm still the one who paid it, not them. I mean I could care less really, except for the fact that they made such a big deal about paying her a living wage when they actually charged me for the cleaning fee.

As I said, it is the press secretary's job to:

1. promote and defend their administration

2. lie when necessary

3. deflect when necessary

Press Secretaries are appointed by the presidents. There is a reason for that.
